Όπως γνωρίζουμε πολύ καλά, η θερμομόνωση και η στεγανοποίηση της ταράτσας, αποτελεί μία από τις πιο σημαντικές διαδικασίες για την προστασία της οικοδομής μας.

Τα υλικά που θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε για να πραγματοποιήσουμε αυτή τη διαδικασία πρέπει να είναι προσεκτικά επιλεγμένα και να έχουν άριστες στεγανοποιητικές και θερμομονωτικής ή και ηχομονωτικές ιδιότητες.

Σε πολλές περιπτώσεις στις ταράτσες εφαρμόζονται ειδικά θερμομονωτικά πλακίδια Polytile τα οποία προσφέρει κυρίως η πιο παλιά εταιρεία η Dow.

Τι είναι οι dow polytile ;

Τα Polytile είναι θερμομονωτικά πλακίδια με σύνθετη δομή, τα οποία τοποθετούνται για τη θερμομόνωση των ταρατσών.

Αποτελούνται από ειδικές πλάκες λευκού τσιμέντου σε συνδυασμό με εξηλασμένη πολυστερίνη (XPS).

Με τη χρήση των πλακιδίων αυτών παρέχεται άριστη προστασία στο στρώμα της στεγανοποίησης, χωρίς ιδιαίτερη ενίσχυση.

Επίσης εμποδίζονται οι εισροές υδρατμών και η πιθανότητα εμφάνισης μούχλας.

Αφαίρεση των dow polytile μετά από 5 έτη γιατι δεν τοποθετηθηκαν με σωστό τρόπο. Δεν προηγήθηκε γεωύφασμα και κενά περιμετρικά των πλακών με αποτέλεσμα να ρηγματώσουν σε αρκετά σημεία και να εγκλωβίσουν υγρασία.

Υστερα απο την αφαίρεση των polytile παρατηρήσαμε αποσάθρωση της στεγανοποίησης σε πολλά σημεία που προκλήθηκε από την παρακράτηση νερών στο υπόστρωμα. Απαραίτητα οι πλάκες πρέπει να τοποθετηθούν σε ταράτσες με τέλεια κλίση

Πλεoνεκτήματα των πλακών Dow polytile

1. Η τελική επιφάνεια δεν επηρεάζεται από τη βροχή και το νερό.

2. Η τελική επιφάνεια είναι βατή και μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί. Τα πλακίδια έχουν καλή αντοχή σε βαριά φορτία κι έτσι μπορεί κανείς να τοποθετήσει πάνω τους εξωτερικές συσκευές κλιματιστικών, ηλιακά πλαίσια, κλπ.

3. Δεν απαιτούν εξειδικευμένες γνώσεις ή προσωπικό με δεξιότητες για την τοποθέτηση τους.

4. Παρέχουν υψηλό βαθμό θερμομόνωσης και μεγάλη οικονομία (έως και 80%)

5. Τοποθετούνται πολύ εύκολα και γρήγορα, κάνοντας έτσι τη συνολική διαδικασία άμεση και ταχύτατη. Η τοποθέτηση δεν απαιτεί ειδικά συγκολλητικά υλικά και γίνεται με απλή εναπόθεση.

6. Δίνεται η δυνατότητα επαναχρησιμοποίησης των πλακιδίων σε περιπτώσεις που θέλουμε να κάνουμε αλλαγές.

7. Το υλικό κατασκευής των πλακιδίων φέρει την υπογραφή μιας από τις μεγαλύτερες εταιρείες παγκοσμίως (της DOW).

8. Έχουν ειδική διαμόρφωση στα πλάγια, ώστε να υπάρχει άριστη επαφή μεταξύ των πλακιδίων και έτσι δεν εμφανίζονται θερμογέφυρες.

9. Παρέχουν άριστη προστασία στο στρώμα στεγάνωσης, βελτιώνοντας και την αντοχή του στο χρόνο.

10. Προστατεύουν το δώμα από τις καιρικές καταπονήσεις και τις έντονες εναλλαγές του καιρού.

11. Η τελική επιφάνεια είναι ιδιαίτερα καλαίσθητη.

12. Τα πλακίδια χρησιμοποιούνται εδώ και πολλά χρόνια στην Ελλάδα με δοκιμασμένα και επιτυχή αποτελέσματα.

Έχουν μικρό βάρος, μην επιβαρύνοντας τη συνολική οικοδομή με επιπλέον βάρος. Ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό για παλιές οικοδομές. Παράλληλα μετά την τοποθέτηση είναι πολύ δύσκολο να φύγουν με τον έντονο αέρα
